Eight Tier Wedding Cake
First Name: CRIS
City and State: HARLINGEN, TX

This cake was a wedding cake that I made for my neighbor who is also a good friend of mine. The cake was a four tier stacked cake with four satellite cakes. I used white cake with buttercream icing. I also add a tablespoon of butter vanilla flavoring to the icing. It mixes and spreads smoother and it smells and tastes so good. I also used a beautiful lace mold with the fondant to achieve such detail along the sides of the cake. The whole cake was sprayed with luster spray to give it a pearl finish. The flowers that I used were stargazer lilies made of gum-paste. The flowers were hand painted with luster and pedal dust to match the wedding color of fushia. It took a lot of time and hard work but I think it turned out very nice and the bride loved it. This was my first wedding cake of this size and I’m so happy to share it with you.

Your cakes are beautiful! I was wondering if you could help me. You see I am doing a high school senior research project on cake decorating. And I am looking for help. So if you would like to e-mail me to talk more I would love more than to do that. But if not thank you for your time.

STUNNING. Simple and elegant is always a sure winner. Of course, not “simple” to create!
