Cake Decorating Ideas

This is a birthday cake I made for my sisters birthday. I made dozens of orange, yellow and white buttercream roses ahead of time and kept them refridgerated. I baked 2 double layer white cakes (my sister’s favorite) and filled them with homemade strawberry preserves. I frosted the cakes with homemade butter cream frosting and added the roses cascading down the side. This was my first cake using butter cream roses and it was beatiful and tasty. I am now the designated desert bringer for all family functions.
