Cake Decorating Ideas

Bottom tier is yellow cake, middle tier is cherry chip cake, and top tier is marble cake, all with buttercream filling. All cakes were covered and smoothed with Buttercream frosting. Poinsettias, holly, and snowflakes were made from royal icing.

Bows, ribbons, and gift tag were made from fondant. Names on gift tag were written with food color writers. All decorations were dusted with gold lusture dust for a shimmering effect.

This wedding cake looks good enough to place right underneath a beautiful artificial Christmas tree as a delicious present.
