The guitar birthday cake is a strawberry cake with a cool whip filling and the microphone is a chocolate cake with a chocolate pudding filling. Both the guitar and the base of the microphone are covered in fondant.
The head of the microphone is iced with gray buttercream using the star tip, with a light dusting of silver pearl dust. The guitar was made with a shaped pan and the microphone was shaped out of a 9×9 pan and a bowl.
