Did you buy the Wiltons at WalMart? I heard that Walmart Wiltons pans are not of the same quality as their major outlets. Getting from a Wilsond dealer gives better quality.

I purchased several of the Wilton pans and seriously regret their purchases. The metal is very thin and warped and buckled when heated, they have no real weight. I would strongly advice against using Wilton pans. Wilton does have some other great products for cake making and decorating just not their pans.

I have since purchased professional good quality baking pans from a restaurant and bakery supply store and love them!! :-). They are worth their weight in gold and they were a bit on the pricey side but after figure out what I had spent on the inferior pans and repeatedly replacing them and what I spent on quality pans and the use I am getting of them, I have actually saved money in the long run! Now there is no going back!

When I made my daughter's wedding cake last month, I bought Wilton's square 3-pan set at
Michael's. It was quite pricey, but I got a discount on it, so it cost almost half of the retail price.
Awesome! since I had so much other stuff to buy for the cake.
Good, quality pans can be expensive. Michael's has an extensive cake decorating dept., & one
can also go online to find what stores don't carry.
The cake turned out great, & was the hit of the party! Yay!!!
