Cake Decorating Ideas

This is a John Deere cake made from yellow cake with butter cream icing. The trees as well as the barn and pasture was made out of Rice Krispies Treats. Big pretzels were also added for a nice touch.

The barns shingles and windows were added with butter cream. The dirt is made from brown sugar while the cat-tails in the pond were made with toothpicks with butter cream on the tips rolled into the brown sugar. The ducks were made with butter cream icing too.

Everything on this cake was made by hand except for the horses and the John Deere toys.
