Mrs. Claus Christmas Cake

Mrs Claus was made using one wonder mold cake and one 8″ round cake layer. In order for her to stand taller I used the round 8″ layer as my base and then sat the Wonder Mold layer on top.
She was iced in red fondant with a white fondant apron and iced holly leaves. Her hair was quite a challenge as I could not style it to look like Ms Claus, so I shaved her head and piped icing for her hair. It worked!
The other challenge was her glasses, until my bright husband came up with the idea to use soldering wire. Hey, where there is a will there is always a way.
She was the hit with all the kids.
