Thanksgiving Turkey and Trimmings Cupcake

Do you want to make year’s Thanksgiving dinner even more memorable? Distribute some Turkey and Trimmings cupcakes to your guests and they’ll surely talk about them for months and years to come.

To begin making your Thanksgiving Turkey and Trimmings Cupcake, you’ll need to soften up two caramel pieces by popping them in the microwave for a few seconds. When they are pliable, remove about 2/3rds of it and set that aside. Form the remaining caramel into a rough oval (or egg) shape to resemble the turkey’s body. Form the caramel piece into tiny turkey legs and attach them on each side of the body. Place the completed turkey into the top of the cupcake.

For the trimmings, you can place thin slices of a green gumdrop around the turkey together with small assortments of red, yellow, green and orange candies as these colors are appropriate for the season. Arrange these according to your preference and own style as there is not wrong or right way of doing this part.

For a more realistic looking turkey, brush a bit of diluted brown food coloring paste on the body to give it a crisp and nicely cooked appearance. Now, you are ready to serve your cupcakes.
