White Horse Cake
For this Horse Cake, I used a 16 x 3 round pan. I used vanilla cake batter from scratch and filled it with chocolate icing. To make the horse’s head, I utilized a homemade cut out template.
I rolled out white fondant and laid it across the cake. While smoothing it out, I put in creases where definition is needed. I roll out more white fondant and use a pizza cutter to cut out the mane piece by piece. The eye and halter is made of brown fondant. In the creases and mane, I used powder food color for shadow and definition. I also used silk flowers to add some color.
